There's a new game at Your School Library. Read the instructions below & come to the library to play!
The bulletin-game-board is a collage of front covers and jacket flap summaries/descriptions. Here's how it works:
  1. Pick a jacket flap description and read it. Hint: Look for key words like character names, author names, titles, topics, and picture clues.
  2. Now, locate a cover that best matches that description.
  3. Once you've found a match, write the jacket flap number next to the letter or symbol on the entry slip you got from your teacher. There are a total of 42 matches.
  4. Once you've found as many as you can (or care to), enter your slip into the draw box on Mr. Richey's desk. Make sure your name and division are included at the bottom.
Important: Each student gets only one entry slip. Because all of the possible answers are to be written on one slip of paper, this isn't something most students will be able to do in one sitting. So..keep your entry slip in safe place until you're ready to hand it in!
