Library News & Info

Your school library is the place you visit each week to pick out books to read...and kids at your school love to read! Did you know that, on average, kids at your school check out about 5-8 books a month! That is incredible. But books are just one type of resource. Click on the links above to explore tons of great online resources as well as recommendations from your fellow students. We are also a resource to each other! See below for some other ways we connect, collaborate, and learn!

At Rogers, we've transformed our old computer lab into a Makerspace filled with hands-on resources, from toys and tools to arts and crafts, there are lots of opportunities to get creative! Click here to learn more about our new shared classroom:  the Rogers Makerspace

At Strawberry Vale, we're working to  be better stewards of our native plant forest and school pond. A few classes are also working to create fresh soil by composting lunch scraps and learning about the worms and tiny critters that make that happen. Learn more about our history of environmental stewardship here!
Whether it's books, online stories and information, toys, tools, food scraps, or fresh soil, it's all about making the most of our many, wonderful resources.
