Nature Education Projects 1995-Today

Over the past three decades Strawberry Vale Elementary has made a name for itself as a Nature School. While there have been a few major projects that have transformed the school grounds and enabled greater access to nature education and nature play, Strawberry Vale Elementary classes regularly find time to take learning outside and bring nature inside.

The Legacy of Mr. Lenny Ross

Mr. Ross was a teacher, visionary, and inspiration to many at Strawberry Vale for many years. He organized and inspired students, staff, and community members to take up the creation of the pond and garden, to take care of the school grounds, and to think about all the things we can to better care for the natural world we rely on. The video above was made in celebration of his career as an educator and the impact he had on our school community.
